What is a .mrpack file?
A .mrpack file is a Modrinth modpack archive. It usually contains a Modrinth index file, pack metadata, override files, and download links for the mods included in the pack.
Does this converter upload my modpack?
No. The MRPack Converter reads the pack in your browser and builds the ZIP locally. The file you select is not uploaded to a server by this website.
What is inside the output ZIP?
The output ZIP includes the pack override files and the mod files listed in the Modrinth index when those files can be downloaded by the browser.
Why can some mods fail to download?
Some file hosts block browser downloads with CORS rules. When that happens, the converter still creates a ZIP and adds a conversion report showing which files could not be fetched.
Do I need an account?
